1) Party positioning

Simple:
1) Don't stay around the puller if the monsters do AoE skills(Shaiya Gold). Especially for casters, your spell is easily interrupted.
2) Don't rest at the spawning place of monsters. You just cleared the room, but unless you are sure that the spawning is already done before you start clearing it, just don't rest there. There's plenty other places to rest.
3) Don't spread-out too much, it's harder to take care of each other when everyone is spreading out, and you risk attract unnecessary monsters.

2) Party leader

Leader is important because in case your party member dies, there's where they spawn, Party leader should be carefully selected especially in PvP maps.

Melee classes should avoid to be leader because they engage in melee combat, and risks big aoe spells around them. Any other class other than puller and mages should be fine for pve maps.

To login to Shaiya, you will need to use your Aeria Games account. If you have not registered for a free account, you can do so any any time here. The first time you login you will have to choose between the Alliance of Light that Humans and Elves or the Union of Fury Vails and Deatheaters.

- Creating Your First Character -
When creating your character, you will need to select the Name, Class, Sex, Job, Shaiya Money is needed. Profession for the character, and appearance for your character. You will now also have to choose the Mode for your gameplay experience. The modes are as followed:

Easy - This mode should only be played by those who have no experience playing MMORPGs. Level(Shaiya Gold) cap is 30, experience gain is 2x, and no special skills are available.

Normal - This mode is for players who have some experiences with MMORPGs. Players must reach level(Shaiya powerleveling) 40 in Normal mode before Hard mode will be made available.

Hard - Level requirements are much harder in this mode, but Status and Skill Bonuses are increased. Players who reach level 40 in Hard mode willunlock Ultimate mode.

Ultimate - Level requirements are the same as in Hard mode, but Status and Skill bonuses are increased and players can use exclusive items, skills, spells, and bonuses only available to Ultimate characters. Characters who die in Ultimate mode will be deleted if not resurrected within 3 minutes. This mode is only for those players looking for the Ultimate experience.

1. Elf - Mage
One of the hallmarks of the Elf race is their use of magic. No other class so exemplifies this than the Mage. Attacking up close or far away, targeting one foe or many, the Mage uses the power of magic(Shaiya Gold) to destroy their enemies. Their ability to harness the power of fire, water, earth, and wind makes the Mage a force to be reckoned with.

2. Vail - Assassin
The Union's answer to the Ranger is the Assassin. Like the Ranger, stealth, Shaiya Money and deception are the trademarks of a good Assassin. Ambush and evasion are staples of the Assassin. They also know how to frighten some monsters away. Assassins can disguise themselves as harmless creatures or as the enemy, further enabling their stealth.

Characteristics - Uses short blades and claw weapons - High evasion ability - Stealth and disguise - Automatically gains +1 DEX per level.

3. Vail - Pagan
Channeling spiritual forces allows the Pagan to unleash powerful magic-type attacks. Attacking up close or far away, targeting one foe or many, the Pagan uses spiritual magic to destroy their enemies. Their ability to harness the natural elements of fire, water, earth, and wind makes the Pagan a force to be reckoned with.

Three Modes Of Shaiya Gamers

Hi guys, here are about three Modes of Shaiya gamers that came from other website. Goldceo, welcome to visit. Let's go see it:

1. Normal- For the gamer that want's level(Shaiya Money) 50. Also for those that eventually want to get to Hard mode. There will be a group that will stop at the level cap here and not ever play Hard. Level 50 here unlocks the ability to create a hard mode character.

2. Hard - For the character looking to get level(Shaiya Gold) 60 and doesn't mind a bit of grind. These are the gamers that want more power and more skills as Hard adds new skills to each class. People that don't use the item shop will stop here as perma death in Ultimate is a deterrent for those that don't want to buy the item. Level(Shaiya powerleveling) 60 here unlocks the ability to create and ultimate mode character.

3. Ultimate - For the Hardcore gamer. This is where you'll see people that use the item shop, because they will be buying the item that allows you not to lose your character. Ultimate has a cap of level 60 and allows you to use Goddess Weapons. Exp needed to level is the same as Hard mode.

In the end, the different modes are for different kinds of players. Choose yours style and then shoot for it.

Here begins the Weapon Guide for fighter. Any blanks indicate that you may have no knowledge of where that piece is found or that there are none available in this version of Shaiya yet. If you know of something that you have not recorded please let me know. Updates help not only you, but everyone who reads this guide. You can start by noting that there are 7 levels of each weapon, just like armor: Regular, Noble, Worship, Heroic, Dread, Legend, and Goddess. Here is the breakdown:

Regular: Have 0 slots for lapis, and can generally be bought from merchants in various cities that are noted below. If you get some from mobs that you can not use, I recommend just selling them to an NPC, most players will not bother buying them. Next we will provide you some Shaiya Gold.

Noble: 1 Slot. 6 stats. Noble weapons are the most slots you can get in 1-15 PVP. Noble weapons are given from quest rewards and can also be found in Cornwell Dungeon.

Worship: 2 Slots. 12 slots. Worship weapons can be used in PVP 20-30, but heroic is definitely preferred, though more expensive.

Heroic: 3 Slots. 18 stats. The best weapons for 20-30 PVP with the exception of a few rare legend stuffs floating around.

Dread: 4 Slots. 24 stats. Important mainly because NM’s can not use legend or goddess gear.

Legend: 5 Slots. 30 stats. Since Goddess items are extremely rare, this is the weapon most HM/UM players depend on. Also, it has a colored aura, unlike all other levels of the weapon, so makes a good status symbol if you are into that. NM/HM’s cannot wear Goddess gear.

Goddess: 6 Slots. 36 stats. Only UM players can wear this type of gear. Also, it has a colored aura, unlike all other levels of the weapon, so makes a good status symbol if you are into that.

In fact, this skill list and ideas are now updated for Episode 4, however, some parts of E4 are still experimental and you may have them incorrect or they may change. Episode 4 data are followed by a red indicator.

First, spears are faster from the weapon mastery that was added. Most people will still rather use other weapons though this means that a spear fighter is now very viable, especially using the level 52 epic, which has a faster attack speed then a normal spear. . . One possible idea for spears will be to start a battle with a spear deadly strike, doing major damage. Here you can get cheap Shaiya Gold.

Second, fighters have gained the use of 1-hand and 2-hand Heavy Weapons. However, they will have limited skill usage. They will have masteries and their own aoes, but are unable to use enhanced windspin. This may prevent them ever becoming mainstream weapon builds for fighters but you would be interested to hear from someone who has tried it. Using a 1-hand heavy weapon and shield will gain a fighter extra lapis slots and stats, but many people will be willing to lose enhanced windspin for those slots.

Third, and perhaps most important, 2-handers are much better. Episode 4 allowed them to use Deadly Strike, a speed increase has made them as fast as dual swords, and the Epic 2-hander now has the ability to change elements. They have also gained a new AoE,''Bastar.d Swing''. These changes make the 2-hander the fighter weapon of choice for both grinding and PvP.

PvP Rankings points in Shaiya

Question a: Why does the Excellent Warrior Manager not give stat points?
There is a minimum level requirement to make sure 1-15 PvP remains fair; You need to be at least level 16 to claim your bonus stat points.

Question b: Do you also get bonus stat points from victories in duels?
No, duel Victories and Defeats are counted separately and have nothing to do with Kills and Deaths from PvP. You won't gain nor lose anything by having either.

Question c: Can you make a character on the other side, kill it many times and get stat points too?
No, that is called "stat padding" and is forbidden. The GMs will reset the rank of a stat padder and temporarily ban the stat padder for some time, if it is the first incident. Doing it again leads to a permanent ban of the accounts.

Question d: Will you lose some if you get a higher rank and did not claim my stat points yet?
No, you won't ever lose bonus stat points from ranks in any way. The Excellent Warrior Manager gives you stat points in succession for each rank achieved.
